Elisa Kerola is a kantele player; her instrument is the Finnish concert kantele. Elisa Kerola has graduated from the Sibelius Academy in 2004 with the Master of Music degree. As a musician she is specialized in art music and likes to work in cooperation with modern composers. Elisa Kerola gives concerts both as a soloist and as a member in her various ensembles. She has given performances in Estonia, Russia, Germany, France and Italy, for example. In addition, Elisa Kerola has played the Finnish kantele in various theatre and dance productions. Besides her tasks as a musician she teaches kantele playing. |
